FREE COLONOSCOPY EXAMS - Howard University Hospital is offering free colonoscopies to people over 50.
This exam which is instrumental in preventing deaths from colon cancer in people over 50 , usually costs about $1200. To make an appointment call 202 - 865-7741.

The Iowa roof replacement project that began on March 22 is making good progress although, it has moved behind schedule because of both rain and heat. Rain or forecast rain or heat in excess of 100 degrees which can create conditions on the roof of up to 150 degrees has delayed the project by over 22days thus far (July 21). Work on the Tower should be completed this week along with work on the north (O St.) townhouses with the exception of gutter repair. The 12th St. -side townhouses will likely be finished next week and work on the south (alley) side row of townhouses is expected to be completed by mid August. Gutter repairs and partial replacement will be done throughout the townhouse units after the roofs are done. Our roofing contractor is Certified Roofing Systems, Inc. Our Engineering Consultant for the project is Facilities Engineering Associates. Project completion is weather dependant. Project updates will be given here and at the next Association meeting.
